Textus will be published three times a year as of 2007. Each of the three yearly issues is jointly edited by
one or two Italian scholars appointed by the Editorial Board and by a foreign co-editor. The Italian editors must be
regular members of AIA.
Contributions must not exceed 30,000 (thirty thousand) typed characters (with spaces); final versions are to be sent to the editors in
October of the year preceding publication for the first issue of the year, issue I, in February for the second issue of the
year, issue II, and in May for issue No. III.
The Textus Style Sheet is available at www.tilgher.it/textus.html and at www.lett.uniba.it//dag/aia/.
Instructions for Editors
The editors:
- write their call for papers, to be published in the AIA
Newsletter, seven months before the deadline for the handing in of contributions in their final
version;
- set the deadline for abstracts and for the notification of acceptance to
contributors;
- check that Italian contributors are regular members of AIA;
- select the abstracts, keeping in mind that the size of the single volume normally will not exceed a total of 160 pages; should the volume exceed this length, they will decide with the Publisher how to meet the additional
costs;

addresses;

a) accurate reading for appropriateness of content; checking that all suggested corrections/additions are included in the final version;
b) accurate evaluation of the fluency, accuracy and stylistic appropriacy of the
text;
c) accurate checking of: final list of references, references in the text, footnotes, tables / figures and captions, for conformity to the style
